Most people recognize the necessity of having a will. Unfortunately, many fail to name a qualified executor, choosing instead a relative who may have no experience in dealing with the legal, tax and investment issues involved with settling an estate. Guardian of an Estate's Assets
As guardian, we safeguard the assets during the individual's term of incapacity. When the estate includes stocks, bonds and bank accounts, we collect dividends and interest and handle reinvestment issues until the assets are distributed.
The Herget Trust and Asset Management Group can serve as guardian of a minor's property until he or she comes of age. In the case of a person who is unable to handle his or her own finances, we can serve as conservator or guardian of the estate. The Trust and Asset Management Group, in both cases, would safeguard assets placed in our charge as well as manage assets, handle investments, keep records and pay bills and medical expenses.
